I decided to do my study on a realism painting made by artist Jean-Francois Millet.

     I did my master study based on a piece from my favorite printmaker, Gustav Dore. The piece I studied the composition from was "Love Reflects on Death" where cupid sits atop a pile of skulls with a gun. For my study I copied the pose and composition of the skulls, and while I did not yet finish the piece I did spend a tracked time of 4 hours on it...
